Varig LOG

Wed Nov 21, 2007 6:13 pm

Hi guys - am writing on Varig LOG at the moment.

Can anyone tell me a little bit about them over and above what is on Wiki and their website?

We understand they are owned by VOLO Brazil - anyone know anything about them? Are they linked to Gol? Does Varig LOG have anything at all to do with Varig any more?

Are Varig LOG looking to buy some new planes? 77F or A332F maybe?
What do you mean you dont have any bourbon? Do you know how far it is to Houston? What kind of airline is this???

GOL do not own Varig LOG, though there was a recent rumour that they may be attempting to purchase them.

GOL purchased Varig from them to create the new Varig launched recently. So no they are not associate with the new Varig.

There are no current plans in the air to purchase new aircraft, though they have been receiving used B757F's to bolster the fleet.

Hope this helps a little.

The company has also just added a fourth DC-10-30F (PR-LGO) to its fleet. It's an ex-DAS Air Cargo (5X-BON) aircraft that was stored CGK for about a year.
