UA Business Vs. UA First...

Sat Aug 26, 2000 7:20 am

I have a choice...

I am flying free (On DELTA SKYMILES) from IAD-SFO on Buisness Class on a 767-200. From what I hear, it stinks! I can rebook and fly First Class on an A320. Which would you take? Thanks!

Take Business Class. You'll still have more leg, knee, and personal room than FC on the A320. Plus, it's a twin aisle aircraft! Always a plus!

United Business is actually quite good, although it offers far less in amenities and prestige than AA's,
Business Elite, or BusinessFirst, mainly because it
is a traditional business class service and not one
that is a mix of both levels.

I have flown Conoisseur Class and the newer
product, now known as United Business. It is
good and I'd stay with the 767-200. The First
Class experience on the A320 will have less
legroom and perhaps less amenities.

I flew UA Business from SFO-IAD a few years ago, and the service was great!   I had lots of legroom, and the food is great. It was a morning flight, and I had the fruit plate, with Yogurt, and a bowl of cereal. I can not forget the muffin. Mmm, now thats one of the best breakfasts that I've had on any flight! If you are flying on a 767, 4 of the 6 seats per row are asiles, so you will never get stuck in a middle!

Business Class on a three class aircraft will be the same as First Class on a two class aircraft. Stick with Business on the 767-200. I've flown both First and Business on United's three class 767's from JFK-LAX/SFO and they are both fine though First is of course much better than Business (on a *three* class).
