It's sad to see a Fokker 100 chewed up. A short tribute to this particular one is appropriate.
N855US/11283 was delivered to US Air in December 1989. It has flown for US Air/ US Airways for a little more than 12 years.
It arrived at MHV
for storage in April 2002. In June 2003 it started to roam about the world, but somehow didn't get into active service again. It was ferried into AMS
apparently destined for Germania, but in September 2004 it returned to the Americas, still in US c/s. It it was bought by Aravco and ended up at YYC
. It would have been part of the fleet of Platinum Jet an Business class only airline that did not really fly. It never left YYC

In October 2004, an unknown Fokker 100 was noted at YYC
in a terrible state. I' ve always thought this had been N855US, but the latest pic from April 2007 shows it in a much better state:
