Trans Atlantic Airlines Now At Almaty?

Sat Dec 08, 2007 9:16 am

There were some threads about this airline a while ago:
Trans Atlantic Airlines To West Africa? (by MaverickM11 Dec 19 2003 in Civil Aviation) Trans Atlantic Airlines (by ELAL 744 Nov 23 2003 in Civil Aviation) Trans Atlantic Airlines (by ELAL 744 Nov 23 2003 in Civil Aviation) Trans Atlantic Airlines (by PROSA Jul 22 2003 in Civil Aviation)

It seemed to be an African airline that wanted to operate flight between West Africa and the USA, but never really took off.

Today I surfed a bit on http://www.aeroseek.com/webtrax/flightstats.html and wanted to know what airlines are operating today at Almaty, just out of curiosity. To my surprise according to aeroseek.com about half of the flights out of ALA today are operated by TAA to various international and domestic destinations using a mix of 762, 757 and F50 equipment.

I can't believe these flights are really operated. Is this airline real? Is there a link with TAA in Africa? Btw they seem to use the same code (KC). How can they be mentioned in aeroseek.com if they don't really operate? Very weird.

Anyone has more info?
"No more window seats in business class, sir!" "Any in economy? Yes? Then downgrade me!"
