I just listened to the audio from JFK
tower (from www.liveatc.net)
and the incident appears on KJFK Tower (not Tower #2) on the tape 2007-12-09 2030Z at appx 24 minutes into the recording.
632 declared a missed approach, the tower immediately told MQ
753 that it was cleared to land, but MQ
753 declared a go-around as well. Why were both flights given instructions to climb to 2000ft?
By the way, I'm always impressed at the communication skills of air traffic controllers. It's a trait I hope to have myself someday.
