The remaining airlines have yet to announce their intentions. The less likely customer to convert their original order is GECAS, as GE is currently not an option on the A350XWB.

I think the following info is also worth repeating in this thread -

The A350XWB conversions stand as follows -

US Airways - gross 22 net 2
ALAFCO - gross 12 net 0
Kingfisher - gross 20 net 15 (currently not firm, original A350 order stands at 5)
TAM - gross 22 net 12 (currently not firm, original A350 order stands at 10)
CIT - gross 7 net 2
TAP - gross 12 net 2
ILFC - gross 20 net 8
Finnair - gross 11 net 2

Total conversions stand at a net gain of 16 firm, 27 unfirm.

Thanks WINGS and Moo.
This is a topic that will be visited alot duing 2008 (atleast by me).
2008, I suspect, will be an awesome year for the A350.
I hope for more orders especially for the -1000 series.

Think if SAS would get some A350's to replace their A330's and A340's. I'd be a faithfull customer.

After seen that 3 of the deals confirmed in recent weeks have delivery dates for 2017 I'm wondering what the status of the earlier slots are. If they are almost full, I think that we have to wait a bit, because I don't think that any airline is willing to wait 10 years ifor a new plane Don't you think?

Cheers

Someone mentioned that AB has set a deadline of the end of this year for the outstanding XNB orders to be cancelled or converted so I guess that we're going to see something from Air Europa and EuroFly in the coming couple of weeks - I wouldn't be suprised if Europa cancelled as they did state that that they were reassessing the requirement and looking at the 787.

I wonder how they class such orders as Kingfishers, which are firm for the A350 for 5 frames, but unfirm for the XWB for 20 frames...

Airbus still lists 5 A350's for Kingfisher, although they have signed a MOU for the conversion of those 5 A350's + 15 A350XWB's.

As you can see I have listed Kingfisher as currently a MOU/LOI.
