Flying Billboards And Ads In The Sky.

Thu Dec 13, 2007 4:49 am

In the past years it has become more noticeable that airliners, newer ones especially, have become flying billboards or advertisements in the sky. Are they being taxed for this in a similar manner highway ad billboards do?

Examples: Alaska's Disney schemes. Air Asia X's A-330 underbelly. Various airliner dotcom writings on fuselages.

Thanks.

Don't forget Skybus' Nationwide ad. Can't get much more like a billboard then that.
