MIA Concourse C

Thu Dec 20, 2007 5:01 pm

I am waiting on Concourse C waiting for my delayed flight to leave - and i cant help but notice that airports had armpits - MIA's would be this awful place.

Is this place getting an upgrade as the rest of the airport is?

PS. They really need to get a cleaning crew to the mens room.

Terminal C will be gone shortly but those 4 gates are valuable for the time being.

Too bad you are in Concourse C, which will be demolished soon, instead of the South Terminal.

If you're still waiting and feel like a walk, go over to the new part of Concourse D for a much nicer part of MIA.

Does anyone know when C is going to be demolished?

Quoting Miaami (Reply 4):

The schedule has been in "adjustable" mode due to the problems with Terminal-A. Underneath Terminal-C is AA's "Bag Room" --where all the connecting bags get sorted/rerouted to the (hopefully) proper gate/plane. Can't deconstruct that terminal until AA has a new Bag Room up and running. With the (temporary?) loss of Terminal-A, no schedule has been republished. And yes, Terminal-C is a "pit," but it makes no financial sense to spend money on something you are (or were) supposed to demolish shortly --FWIW, AA personnel hate it too.
