F-16 Crashes In Texas, Pilot Dead...

Fri Sep 01, 2000 8:23 am

Happened north of Abilene, TX, I think. This happened a few days ago and I haven't posted it until now. Anyway, they said the pilot died because he spent to much time diverting the plane from a city. It's sad that the pilot died. Anyone else heard?

This fly by wire aircraft I think has a hidden problem that has been causing many accidents to occur.

Word is going around that the West Texas crash occured during an unauthorized "air show" that the pilot was performing for his family. One of the family members apparently witnessed the accident which could lend some creedence to the report.
My definition of cool ? Not trying so hard to be cool.
