UA/US Flight Numbers

If UA/US merged, what will happens to UA's flight number, it seems like UA's flight numbers are "full".

UA1-2999 UA/UA SHUTTLE; UA3000-3499 AC; UA3500-3974 LH; UA3975-3999 TG; UA4000-4139 GULFSTREAM;
UA4140-4149 SV; UA4150-4199 RG; UA4200-4299 AQ;
UA4300-4302 EK; UA4303-4399 NZ; UA4400-4499 MX; UA4500-4519 KX; UA4545-4570 JK; UA4571-4599 AIR ALM; UA4600-4649 VX; UA4650-4799Trans State AL; UA4800-4899 BD; UA4900-4999 AN; UA5000-7999 UA EXPRESS; UA8225-8299 NH; UA8300-8789 UA GROUND LINK; UA9300-9449 SK; UA9475-9524 GULFSTREAM; UA9525-9599 OS; UA 9600-9617 BW

I'm not adding US' because after UA/US merger, the new company will be still UA.

There are a lot of gaps in United's flight numbers. An example would be : UA 1,2,3,4,7,10,15,16,19,22,39,42,43,44,45,46,47,48,49,50,51... and so on. Now I just made up those numbers, but my point is that there are open numbers, and those will be filled in. Also there are no 29XX flight numbers. Those will most likly become the Metro Jet flights.
