Midway To Start Transcontinental Flight

Fri Sep 08, 2000 8:36 pm

Fresh off the press...

"Midway Airlines will launch new Boeing 737-700 trans-continental service between their RDU hub and San Jose, CA on November 7. Two roundtrips will be operated daily."

Airlinersonline daily news.

First seasonal flights to Steamboat Springs, CO from RDU now San Jose. Midway seems to be making its move west now that they are getting more 737-700's. They are building up to 20 737-700's for the next year or so. What do you think the next step will be for Midway? Any predictions on future routes from its hub at RDU?
