Please Help Me ID This Aircraft

Sun Sep 10, 2000 8:44 am

I saw a pair of Boeing 727-200F's at the cargo ramp at AUS (Austin Bergstrom) today (9/9) they had a blue stipe that ran up the tail. The blue stripe had a thin red line on top and on bottom. There was a title outlined in black on both a/c that I could not make out, and then the word "ONE" I am including a drawing to give an idea, I am not sure just how close it is because It has now been almost 12 hours since I first saw the pair. Can anyone help me?

Does this look familiar?

Other than their name, express ONE, I don't know much about them, although I have seen them in St Louis once or twice in the last couple of years.

Hey, there is a very good chance the plane you saw is one of Texas Air Cargo's (TAC) aircraft. Their main hub is AUS.

Hey, I was at AUS today and I saw them too. I will post some pics soon. Are you in Lockhart Classic707?

Express One is probably the cargo company with the most flights in and out of AUS. At times I've seen 5 or more 727's on the cargo ramp at the same time. The busiest time for this company is usually in the morning hours from around 1am to 4am. They have several different paint schemes including some plain white aircraft.

The airline is listed as "LHN" for "Longhorn".
