UPS's #2 A300 Rumor...

Thu Sep 14, 2000 3:47 am

Someone working for UPS told me today that the delivery of UPS' #2 A300 was delayed, because the aircraft had an incident while on a test flight. Supposedly the anti-skid system failed and therefore burned up all the main landing gear tires upon landing.
He also mentioned that N120UP was grounded temporarily out of unknown reasons!!!
Can anybody varify these claims....thanks

.......I know there was an incident that caused all eight main tyres to burst.......not too sure why......but I saw it flying two days after, so it mustn't have been too serious........
