anyone know why some of the windows on this plane have been painted over? (aft of first class area)
It is not a cargo plane.Loading aircraft image...

It's probably a combi, which means it carries passengers and a significant amount of cargo. I know for a fact that KLM operates some 47 combi's.

I really like that sign that says, "Do not proceed while B747 and A340 aircraft taxying. Vehicles over 3.3m high must have tower clearance."

That particular area is occupied by a large galley, which uses up the entire right half of the cabin between the R1 and R2 doors. Hence, the blocked-off windows.

Check out KLM's seat maps for their 744's and you'll see the detailed interior layout.

I'm not 100% sure what this area is used for, however there are no seats in this part of the aircraft on this side. I think its a galley for first class.

Yes its a galley, definitely.Ive seen it from inside but on a Philippine airlines 747-200, it was not there on PIA 747s that ive travelled on, they have full windows and full club class seating on both sides of the aircraft.
.....up there with the best!
