Folded Safety Cards!

Sat Sep 16, 2000 4:34 am

I came across some Russian and CIS-Airlines Safety cards in my collection, and wondered why they ALL were folded in the middle.

I took Air Kazakstan Tu154 that summer for a flight out of Moscow, were I found the solution. Many passengers use the Safety cards as a Fan for fresh Air, as the AC on our Tuplev was "out of service". So the have to fold them in the middle, even if the Lamination might break!!
Very sad for us collectors.

Ever experienced that on any other flights???
