Which livery do you like better, the old or new Varig? Personally i would rather Varig keep the old livery, but keep the new interiors. What do you think? Plus if you could restructure the Varig fleet how would you change it? considering their current route structure. i would choose

9 767-300ERs
5 767-400ERs
4 777-200IGWs
10 737-700s
15 737-700s
10 737-600s
5 757-200s

i think that would be an awsome fleet for Varig. What do you all think?

Personally, I prefer the new livery. I have no idea about fleet requirements though, it's a while since I last flew RG/lived in Brazil/spoke portuguese!

No guys! Varig doesn't have all this money to buy these a/c... I think that the Md-11 are doing their job, and the 767 also, so I would continue with the actual fleet. Varig needs some money at this time, so a small fleet with only two types of a/c helps to minimize the costs of training, maintenance, etc... Varig has, today, about 15 Md-11 and 10 767-200 and -300. It has, too, 11 B737-200, about 25 737-300 and 5 737-700 for the domestic market. And the livery is beautiful, that blue stay very good on Varig's planes.

Varig already has 737-700s and will add 737-800s for narrowbody fleet. They will also add 777s next year to replace MD-11s. They will also have 6 767-300ER on order. I don't see any need for them to get 757-200 or 767-400ER. Varig Brasil's current livery is one of the nicest ones around. The777Man
