Trans Caribbean Airways?

Thu Sep 21, 2000 3:59 am

Here's a photo I found on the database from the late '60s of a Trans Caribbean 727. Does anyone have any info about this airline at all because I've never heard of them before. Thanks

When I lived in Puerto Rico in the mid 60s, TCA flew between the island and the mainland US. Most of the traffic was between SJU and the New York area. They used DC-8s along with the 727s. They were bought out by American which is how AA entered the PR market.
