Does anyone know what series 747 British Airways is currently using on their Toronto to London route?

I just checked their schedule for tomorrow's flight BA92, and it's operated on a 747-200.

You are probably right. I know they flew the 400 around christmas. A friend of mine flew that flight at christmas 1st class for $30. He said it was really neat he got free PJ's. And he said they service was great.
Well done for the research!

YYZ to LHR on a 757?

Fri Mar 12, 1999 3:57 am

Does BA really use the 757 on the YYZ-LHR route? I know that during the summer months BA operates a YYZ-JFK-BHX flight with a 757. Might that explain the 757 at YYZ?

Air Transat and Canada 3000 fly YYZ-FAO with 757. FAO is in south Portugal.

I do not think that BA flies non stop from LHR to YYZ in a 757. Go to the BA website and find the 757 it will say that it is used in high density operations around europe and to the south east of the US.

Yes, BA uses the 747 on the YYZ-LHR route, but it has two 757s for what they call "regional long haul" flights. According to the BA schedule for last summer, the 757 was indeed used for the YYZ-JFK-BHX route. As for the other 757s in its fleet, eight are used for shuttle and 35 for European service.
