Hey I am a bit confused here. A month ago I read in Flight Int'l that Malev (next to Aeroflot) is the candidate to enter Skyteam, due to Budapest's enormous potential for east European traffic. Suddenly, two weeks ago i read in Flight Int'l that CSA has already set a date to enter Skyteam, April 1st 2001, and that even Delta will buy 15% of this airline... Who can tell me more about Skyteam new member, and if Malev is not entering Skyteam, where will they go then??? Thanks a lot

As you said, CSA Czech Airlines will enter the SkyTEAM alliance led by AF and DL, joining AM and KE.
CSA will bring its eastern european network into the alliance and Prague should become the Alliance's east-european hub.

Happy Flying,
