Most Important European Routess

Wed Sep 27, 2000 6:02 pm

Here is a list of the most important routes flown in Europe, that I found in Air International August 2000.
The traffic figures are in millions and include both scheduled and charter traffic.

MAD-BCN 3.4
LIN-FCO 2.7
ORY-NCE 2.5
ORY-TLS 2.2
ORY-MRS 2.2
LHR-AMS 2.1
LHR-DUB 1.9
LHR-CDG 1.9
LHR-EDI 1.5
CPH-ARN 1.2

ARN-CPH is defently not the only route in Europe with 1.2 million passengers.

The largest international route in Europe is LON - DUB, with 5m passengers this year expected.
You are 100 times more likely to catch a cold on a flight than an average person!

Interesting.

I was under the impression that LHR-CDG or FRA-LHR would be the busiest.

Skyhooked,

No, I don't have any pictures of GEXA and GEXB in Singapore, Do you ?
I have black and white pictures of DH in PPT but still as a 742 not converted yet as a 743.

I would have thought that LHR-MAN would be in there somewhere.
When you hear the noise of the Tartan Army Boys, we'll be coming down the road!

Hello UT501,

Interesting data. Would you please have some figures for long-haul routes?

Thank you,

Best regards,
