Have any of you been to ATA's wb site recently? I just came across this article, stating ATA's intention to buy both 737-800s and 757-300s!!

"47 New State-of-the-Art Boeing Aircraft Pave the Way for ATA's Future Growth
More than two years of hard work and planning by ATA culminated in Seattle, Washington, when ATA's parent company, Amtran, Inc., signed an unprecedented agreement on Thursday, May 4, 2000 to purchase 47 new state-of-the-art Boeing aircraft. ATA will begin taking delivery of 37 Boeing 737-800's and 10 Boeing 757-300's beginning in the second quarter of 2001. All 47 of these aircraft will be flying in ATA's fleet by the first quarter of 2003.
