Many Unidentified Things At STL Today!

Mon Oct 02, 2000 8:07 am

I had an awesome time at STL this afternoon/evening. But there were two things that I did not know. First an A320 in AW new livery took off. (I think the A320's are replacing the 733's to STL because they are never there no more) About 10 minutes after it took off, another one (possibly the same one), landed and taxied by the A concorse and waited. Then 4 luxury buses came up to the plane and loaded people on the airbus. Was it the San Diego Chargers who had played the Rams this afternoon? I think it was. Then the other thing was an old 732 or 731 was approaching STL. It had a white body with a blue stripe running horizontally across. On the tail was the Charlotte Hornets basketball logo. But here was the strangest part. On the right wing, was the normal 737-200, 100 engine, and on the left wing was a 300 series engine. Does anyone know about these two incidents?

When I said 300 series engine, I meant an engine on a 733, not the name of the engine! Sorry bout' the confusion!
