George W. Bush's 727 At Prc?

Mon Oct 02, 2000 4:57 pm

Is there anyone who is familiar with the airport in Prescott, Arizona? I know George W. Bush visited Prescott last month and he has been flying around in a chartered Miami Air 727. Does anyone know if they actually brought that aircraft into Ernest A. Love Field?

Runways 3R/21L are 7616 feet long at an elevation of 5042MSL. I believe this would be long enough for the 727, but I am not sure whether the runway could handle the weight. I am pretty familiar with the airport and I am not sure if there is enough room on the ramp at PRC for a 27. I am sure some Riddle students could help you out with details.

Regarding this 757, it looks like the same styled-flag livery that North American has. Is this a North American 757 that they've leased? (Sort of obvious, but I wasn't sure.)
