Pratt Sold 400 GTF's Since Paris - For Whom?

Wed Sep 07, 2011 7:22 am

Pratt says that they have sold 1200 GTF's until the eve of the Paris airshow and 400 additional since:
http://news.airwise.com/story/view/1315351228.html

For which airlines are these 400? Does somebody have an idea? AA was explicitly mentioned to not be one of the buyer...

Pratt also discredits the 737MAX but that is another story.

Edit: spell correction

It should include PW1400G for MS-21.
An agreement with PW (in some form) was signed at MAKS in August.
The details were not revealed to public.
But MS-21 has got ca. 80 orders and ca. 60 options at MAKS.

At least Ilyushin Finance opted for the PW1400G - I saw a headline in Aviation Week stating that.
This should account for about 44 firm and 56 optional engines.
Maybe Pratt also included the up to 60 engines for Korean (firmed upt the CS order after Paris) and the LoI for up to 30 CS from Ilyushin Finance into that calculation...
