United Express Do-328's

Wed Oct 04, 2000 12:48 pm

Does anyone know why some United Express Do-328's are painted solid white? I've seen a few in ORD...well, one for sure. Maybe Chris 28-17 would know?

Saw one at ORD today 10-03-00.

The white Do-328 is a leased aircraft. The company needed a spare and got one from a corporate operator in Europe. I know it came over the pond and then sat in the hager at ATW for a couple of weeks being fixed before it was put on line. I do not know whether the buzz bomb will ever get a proper paintjob or how long it will stay on property. I think there is only one white D0-328. There may be a couple more that show up, or the 328's may disappear altogether in the future.
