SkyWest To Change CDC Flights To Crj200's

According to an article from airline daily, Skywest is to change their 2 EAS flights to/from CDC from and EMB120 to a CRJ200.

here is an excerpt from the article.

Cedar City, UT) - Flying between Cedar City and Salt Lake will soon be faster, easier, and more comfortable than ever before with the introduction of daily Delta Connection jet service operated by SkyWest Airlines. Beginning in January 2012, customers will be able to fly from Cedar City aboard the 50-passenger, Bombardier-manufactured Canadair Regional Jet 200 (CRJ200).

Mike Thompson, SkyWest Airlines vice president of Market Development said, "With the fleet flexibility we enjoy, SkyWest Airlines is pleased to offer jet service to our Cedar City passengers. We have seen increased passenger support in Cedar City, and this new jet service is just one more great reason to fly local."

SkyWest Airlines will begin operating two daily Delta Connection jet roundtrips on January 4, 2012. Passengers may begin booking their flights on October 1, 2011

Congrats to CDC! I hope the locals respond to it like we did in MHK and fully support the service.
