What Will Southwest Do At HPN?

Fri Sep 23, 2011 3:27 am

What do you think Southwest will do with HPN when they complete their merger with Air Tran. Currently Air Tran serves 2 daily to Atlanta, 2 daily to Palm Beach, 5 weeklies to MCO.

With growth options limited at HPN, do you think Southwest will keep this route.

I'd miss them. While B6 also serves HPN, they don't offer as many conneciton opportunties as Air Tran does out of Atlanta

I think you will see WN shift flights around to something like 1 MDW 2 ATL 2 BWI. Or 3 BWI 1 MDW 1 ATL. With the WN network bigger than the current FL one. I see WN Using these 5 slots have a more high revenue value than any of WN 's smaller stations like CRP,ECP OR JAN. This is one station I would be shocked if they cut. This is a new WN so nothing would surprise me anyone. Enjoy wnfg
my post are my opinion only and not those of southwest airlines and or airtran airlines.
