What Is Going On At Pinnacle?

Tue Oct 04, 2011 6:06 am

This company appears to be an absolute mess. Not long ago CEO Phil Trennary was ousted and replaced by Sean Meinke. Today, it was announced that their COO Doug Shockey has "resigned" and been replaced by John Spanjers, who is one of the Mesaba higher ups.

A CEO change and a COO change in the span of a couple of months, coupled with a messy integration in their workgroups and the stock at a 52 week low? What the heck is going on at that company?

A new broom sweeps clean?

Pinnacle has a new CEO with some experience of restructuring and he is building his team. He has already brought in Ted Christie, who was with him through the Frontier bk, as CFO:

I wouldn't pay much attention to the stock being at a 52 week low. Most airline stocks are floundering around down there.

This was announced via company email that went out last Thursday. Hopefully, good things will come.
