A Question For Turkish Airlines Experts

Does anyone know why Turkish doesn't use the flight numbers TK3 and TK4 ?

Usually there are some block of flight numbers which later on are added to same country flights. For example TK1 is JFK, TK10 LAX, IIRC TK5 is ORD and so on. TK 20,27... are for China, and so on.

For example TK1853/4/5/6 are BCN flights, and later on this year new flights were added as 1851/2, as they were unused.

They actually used it for second JFK flights way back when they first started them . TK11 is a bit marketing thing, in addition to TK1 .. That's my speculation.

I like 1/3 and 2/4 more than 1/11 and 2/12...

What were the flight numbers for MIA before ceasing these flights?

I had forgotten about Miami. It's a good possibility that it was 3 and 4.
