Can Anyone Identify This Aircraft?

Fri Nov 18, 2011 5:09 am

A couple of weeks ago, I was spotting at TPE and on my way home what I'm pretty sure was a widebody flew over my car. At first, I thought it might be Xiamen airlines, but according to Wikipedia, Xiamen doesn't currently fly any widebodies.

It looked like a large twin, and I think it was an A330 (but it could have been a 767). It had a predominantly white fuselage with two blue cheatlines that wrapped around under the nose. One cheatline was a darker blue than the other.

I didn't get to see what was on the tail. It arrived at about noon on a Sunday.

787 maybe? lol

Just throwing that one out there... I know the 787 was supposed to go to TPE as part of the world tour.

I've been trying to find out if the 787 was supposed to come to TPE -- but haven't been able to find out any details. Honestly, it could have been -- but I don't think the times match up for the 787 world tour.

If anyone knows when the 787 will be in TPE -- I will gladly skip work to go and see it!
