Need someone to update this, I know 775 & 780 are completed.
Yes, maybe we need to review the stats. I went back to see if I saw 775 and 780 and I found both posted earlier this year. Somehow they must have gotten pulled from the done list on this thread.

780 is included: 777-782 [6], is the 6 aircraft from 777 to 782.

I can find no photographs to confirm 775 - shown in a November photograph in blue scheme. May have been an error when previously listed.

Thanks for the update! I have 780UA in new paint scheme also. I do not show 775UA having gone in yet. I believe it's still blue and white but I could have missed it.

B777 (3-class)

Will confirm when 796UA actually makes it in this time before we add it. (still scheduled for the 23rd)
798UA (gg) leaves VCV tonight. (12/20)
204UA (gg) scheduled to fly to VCV tonight.

I should have checked more before posting about 780 and 775.
The second to last post on Update #7 asked why 780 and 775 weren't shown. I assumed it was paint, but the poster listed the 772 New First & Business Seats for United International Widebodies line of info vs. the paint. In any case the poster missed 780 and I've searched back through every Status page and don't see 775 shown anywhere.

The retitling of CO aircraft into UA titles has ceased for the past few months.

Based on post # from , I have removed 2 aircraft

Still remaining with "Continental" are 41 aircraft:

B739-CO - 9
N30401
N79402
N38403
N32404
N72405
N73406
N35407
N37408
N37409

B738-CO - 29
N33203
N26208
N26215
N14230
N36247
N73251
N37252
N76254
N37255
N38257
N73259
N37263
N33264
N76265
N33266
N37267
N76269
N73270
N35271
N36272
N37273
N37274
N73275
N37277
N37298
N76503
N76504
N76505
N78506

B737G-CO - 1
N24736 Guam

B735-CO - 2
N14604
N58606

There is no feedback on the reason for this - I keep an eye out for photo shots and see if any are added. Flight Aware has not had any flights to AMA from IAH in the 9700-9799 range since September.

I did think for a while before the joint certificate that there was a requirement to keep some in CO titles - I believe that this has would have now passed.

Looks like, based on the links below, that at least two of the CO-Mike 73's have been painted:

I can't remember whether or not the wiki had those tagged as painted or not and obviously can't check since the site is down...speaking of, does anyone know what's up with that?

My question was regarding interior conversions complete. My count is 25 done, so there are 3 tail numbers missing.
775UA & 780UA are 2 that are completed and not on list.

The paint count of 37 appears to be correct.

For what it is worth, I saw a pmUA in new new colors (that is, the artwork formerly known as Continental) at the SFO hangar yesterday (23rd), with titles painted over, and front half of the globe missing, too. I zoomed in with my camera, but even so, couldn't catch the refistration. I assume this is one of the lease rejections??? Sad that it was in the newest colors!
Anybody have a tail number?

How many PMUA aircraft remain in the "battleship" livery? Looks like many of the A319's (many were in battleship livery at time of merger) have been repainted but I'd imagine there's still a decent amount of "battleship livery" 757's and perhaps a few 777's & A320's left. Some of those said 757's have had horrible-looking paint.

Check the Part 7 thread, but I believe it is down to 3 domestic 767s and 6 777s in the battleship colors. I still find it somewhat humorous/sad that this "old" paint scheme is being replaced with one that is actually a year older.

You've only listed 21 here, rather than the 22? Presumably N780UA is the one you missed out.; it has been converted (August 2010) & using fleet # 2480 (F8C40Y218)

N775UA was out of service from 14 November 2011 till 07 December 2011 at SFO, is this when it received the new interior?

Can anyone confirm that ASA operate sixteen CRJ-200s for United Express? Press release from 2010 states only 14 were to be flown for UA, and I can only find 14 currently in United paint.

Is there anyway who can update the Continental conversions to Economy Plus? Last I saw in another thread, there were 18 of 41 757's complete.

Is there any particular reason why it is taking the United Express aircraft so long to begin the repainting process?

I've posed the same question...specific to the 70 seaters.

My guess is that there would be no reason to spend the money on a repaint if the scope issue cannot be worked out.

I have read on here that the days for the EMB 120's are numbered...will see with time. Not sure why the CRJ200's have not been ramped up as much as the Embraers.

I'm just a casual observer though..but my money is that if you see the 70 seaters being painted, that part of the scope issue was worked out even before an announcement is made.

I don't know why UA Express repainting project is taking so long but I did just read that SkyWest has arranged with Jet Midwest Technik at MCI to perform "Premium" aircraft paint services for the airline's CRJ200 fleet. They apparently have 2 paint lines at the faciltity according to Dec 2011 Airliner World. Maybe things are breaking loose.

Look on the Continental website under flight status a day or two before departure. Look up your flight and then the seat map...but it could change..so keep looking. If you see row 14 missing, you've got the right bird...(I hope I'm quoting the right row)

Yes, but I was more specifically looking at 70 seat jets that the Express side of Continental has none. Just the United..and those will require repaint...which less than a handful had done and then stopped.

I still think this is scope related...until that is resolved, there is no need to repaint 70 seaters if they would have to exit (which would be a big mistake on the part of the pilots if you ask me).

They are focused on removing the continental brand from existence. If the plane already says United on the side does it really matter to get it painted? For anet yes, but for the remainder of the flying public not really.
I could be wrong but all of the explus planes are in the blue scheme, which means that they United is focused on getting to two liveries (blue and PMCO). I do expect that some of the painting on the express side is waiting based on the pilots contract and other contractual timings as it relates to planes that MAY be leaving the fleet. If I recall PMUA had a number of express contracts that are coming up for renewal in the next 1-2 years.

No clue what's next. UI don't have any inside info, just use FlightAware and continental.com to get info. The second 764 is in HKG going through lie flat/Y+/other minor mods.
You'd think the next aircraft type in would be international as the 752 is international. Once we get past New Year's, maybe there's a bit more slack in the schedule to get things moving.

I'm not sure how many more will receive them or what the schedule looks like, but UA put winglets on a couple more ETOPS 757s (non PS) this year. I think in the 59xUA number range if I remember correctly.

Thanks for the information. I thought they were going to place blended winglets on other 75s they were planning on keeping other than the p.s. birds, especially since they will be placed back in the mainline fleet once they start flying the p.s. flights with 739ERs.

ac #103 was n LAX for a full day plus and may not have received the mod. Following these conversions, some of the converted planes had non-converted seats maps for a couple of days. I'll watch 0103 to see if the seat maps change. More likely 0107 will exit LAX tomorrow vs. #0103.

I think there is just very little slack in the schedule for the 70's. Also, UA has clauses in the contracts that the partner has to pay for the aircraft to be repainted every x number of years, and I believe Shuttle's E170's are nearing the mark where Shuttle would be liable for the expense. UA's scope issues are more than likely have no effect on 70 seater repaints, as the aircraft would not be "forced out" of the fleet. UA would just not be allowed to sign any new contracts of that scope. At least that's how rational people would negotiate it.

The 737s will start their conversion to Economy+ soon. New schedule shows a train of them coming through MCOMX. After flying United back to Orlando, I'll have to say, it is nice to have that extra legroom.
