Continental qn

Tue Mar 16, 1999 12:37 am

I know that continental retired its 747 earlier this month. But does
continental Micronesia still have its 747s - when are those going
to be retired. I did a search on Continental's site for a flight
to NRT and I got a 747-100/200 flight listed as Continental
flight 5027 from SFO to NRT. Is that a code share or is it operated
by Continental Micronesia?

SFO Depart 12:25 PM
NRT Arrive 4:26 PM
Flight Number: 5027
CONTINENTAL AIRLINES
Aircraft B747-100/200
I've flown on 9V-SPK.

I'm not sure when Continental Micronesia is going to retire its 747s, but I do know that very few are in use, if at all. As for the 747 between SFO and NRT, it is a codeshare with Northwest (the flight number is often an indication).
Next flights: YQM-YYZ-YOW v.v. / YQM-CUN v.v. / YQM-YUL-YWG v.v. / YSJ-YYZ-SEA-SFO / SFO-YYZ-YOW-YQM / YQM-YYZ-MUC-TXL /

All of Continental and Micronesia's 747s are gone. The flight to NRT is codeshare with Northwest

I'm sure it's codeshare with another airline, I think Northwest like you said, because all of Continental's 747's are now gone forever, so are the 737-200's. When I say Continental I also mean Continental Micronesia.
