In their January 1958 timetable, all of Pan Am's internal German services to/from West Berlin were still using DC-4s. That would have required several aircraft (16 daily departures from THF
The only other passenger DC-4s I can find in that timetable operated NAN
3 x week and NAN
(only once every two weeks), connecting at NAN
with the B377 Stratocruiser service to/from SYD
There were still many Pan Am DC-4 (C-54) all-cargo services then, mainly on transatlantic and Latin America/Caribbean routes, also a weekly SFO
and twice-weekly SEA
The only DC-3s that appear in that 1958 timetable were operated by Pan Am's various Latin American affiliates in which PA had varying degrees of ownership, but I don't think those would have been in PA livery.
By 1963 the DC-4s were gone and all the Berlin flights (by then up to about 40 daily departures from THF
) used the DC-6B which were replaced by the 727-100 about 3 or 4 years later.
