EK B77W At MAD @ 1800?

Sun Jan 08, 2012 8:43 pm

This evening, I was arrived at MAD around 6pm. I saw an EK B77W on remote stand near T4. EK's flight out of MAD departs at 1400. Also, I do know EK switched their MAD ops from 340 to 77W. I then checked the EK website, it shows on time departure from MAD and arrival into DXB. Was this a non-scheduled flight or diversion? I shall upload a photo I took soon.

Probably A6-EBU.

6th January 2012 - A6-EBU Madrid Issue.
Boeing 777-31HER A6-EBU operated EK141 Dubai - Madrid today but the return EK142 has been cancelled indicating a technical or operational issue.

Well it's January 9th today and just 2 hours ago I saw an EK 777-300ER parked on a remote stand in front of Terminal 4S. Definitely not on schedule.
