Did YU-AON Ever Operate For Aero Continente?

Fri Jan 20, 2012 11:33 pm

Did this aircraft ever operate for N6? I have searched the web, and I can't find any evidence that it ever did. I do know that it flew with this livery for JU for over two years back in 2002-2004.

Airfleets.net doesn't show N6 ever operated a 733.

As far as I remember it did. Some years ago I spoke to the JU representative in Cyprus and he told us that JU would be using AON to LCA after the aircraft had returned from a little exotic excursion.

Also this aircraft was involved in an incident in LCA. The guy driving the stairs before going in reverse went forward and hit the first foor on the left. The system would not show that the door was closed and LCA stated that they didn't break it but that the plane came with the broken door.
Anyway the plane ended sitting at the airport for over 20h when the Serbian government paid for a technician to come and fix the problem.

The flight was scheduled to depart at 03:25 so once the problems started they had to wake up the entire Serbian embassy in Nicosia which had to call the ministry in Belgrade bla bla bla...
