Sat Jan 21, 2012 4:41 pm

Hey everyone, last night i was driving on Imperial Highway and noticed an Air Tahiti Aircraft with engines covered at the imperial terminal. Anyone have any idea why?

Thanks

Overflow parking. With the C-17 and AF2 at the west remotes there is nowhere else to park them.

Quoting OLBA (Reply 2):

Protection from weather. It's not good for fans to turn without oil pressure to lubricate the bearings.
