Looks like a very nice product line-up! Just to confirm, this is not a new F, J and Y product, just new photos. Swiss only introduced a new J class product recently (2010, I think?), so I'd be surprised if they were rolling out a new one now!

All three classes look like new products to me. The J class seat on the 2010 seat had plaid with wood paneling -- this appears to be different. Regardless, it's one hell of a product and I really need to fly F or J on then one of these days.

This is not a totally new product, it has been online for a while now. I've only tried J and i can say, even without bias, that it's an excellent seat! They should have done a better job with the IFE though.

The new F appears to be the same seats installed by LH on the A380. J is the same.

Can somebody clear up whether this is a new product or new photos of the 1-2 year old product?

Am I right in thinking the new Y class is the same as BA's new one?

I absolutely love the beige plaid Y seats. I have never seen them before. It's nice to see they felt a little design touch was necessary in the large sea of plain navy and grey.

I thought F is the same thing myself. However, it seems to me that the J seats Swiss uses are different, if nothing else for the layout of them, but they seem to be different in the seat itself too (also because the LH ones are not fully flat).

So LX going with the high-desity offset J product. Looks spacious, is actually cramped.

Also, those PTV monitors in J look very small!?

The Y product actually looks very comfortable. Does anyone know the pitch?

According to seatguru, it's 32"

It's a cultural thing.

Both are similar, however, LX rolled out their F product before LH.

F is a new product as I was there at the presentation.
The F seat is quite wide and has enough space, as I am 194 cm tall
The Business Class Seats are the same and yes the beige color looks great.
Yes its more maintenance but they except that

Details First Class Seat Seating 1-2-1, Seat Length when reclined 203,2 cm (80") Seat with 55,9 cm (22"), seat table 66x63,5. IFE Screen 58 cm (23")

Details Business Class Seat Seating 1-2-1 / 2-2-1 The left row is all 1 seat, The right row is 2-1-2-1-2-1.
That means that you have 2 tables if you are seating on the right hand side in a single seat. This because of the recline of the seat, otherwise it won't fit. With 70% capacity still everybody can have a seat by them self. Seat length when reclined 200,6 cm (79"), seat width 52,1 cm (20,5")

Details Economy Class Seat Seating 2-4-2, Seat Pitch 81,3 cm ( 32 " ) seat width 44 cm (17,3")

No, the F seats are quite different. I flew both new LX F and LH A380 F a few weeks ago (ORD-ZRH and FRA-NRT), and the seats aren't the same. I didn't think they looked that similar either.

The LH seat is much more comfortable in all positions. Sitting on LX's F seat was like sitting on a park bench. However, LX wins on privacy, even though LH has a privacy screen as well. LX's IFE monitor is much larger, but the video is distorted because the resolution of the videos isn't very large.

How do you define "new"? Weren't both the current F and J products introduced with the first A333 delivery almost 3 years ago (April 2009)? I'm not aware there's been anything new since then. LX then modified the A343s with the new J product to match the A333s, but as far as I know the A343s still have the old F class product.

Just so we're clear, the LX first class seat was rolled out on HB-JHA which started flying passengers in April 2009. I love the seat, but I'm not sure if I'd call that 'new', as it's approaching three years now.

Wow. Beautiful cabin in all three classes. I have to say, I like the little globe motif on the bulkhead walls.. reminds me a little bit of TWA's old logo.

Cramped? I don't know how much space you take up, but it's certainly not cramped. The TV's are only small on the A340s, on the A330s they're pretty large, larger than what ie. BA offered me on the 744 on a recent flight.

I don't think that's correct unless they are entirely changing the ways thing are today. The right side is now all single seats (seat K). The left side ('A') side alternates between single versus double seats. This is the same setup on all A330s using the Thompson Vantage seat (the only other one is AY). I can tell you from experience that the single seat with the two tables/consoles (the 'A' seat) can have a pretty cramped footwell area as you are boxed in on both sides...

On this special press day they told us that the F class in the 340-300 is older and different.
The new 330-300's are fitted with the new F class and the other airplanes are been refitted in the last 12 months.
So there is a new version in all 330-300's of the F class, these are NOT the same as in the 340-300's

Your correct its left if you stand in it heading to the back but A seat is 2-1-2-1-2 and K is the single row

I'm 6" 2' an about 13 stone so not overweight but not Pettit either! I flew this configuration on EK 380 in J (granted different airline and aircraft but same idea) and found it to be cramped. Probably won't even fly this product but according to seat guru there is only an extra 3 inches width in J from Y (similar story at EK), so in my opinion this looks and sounds cramped.
