Delta Airlines 777-200 READY !

Tue Mar 16, 1999 7:16 am

The first Boeing 777-200 for Delta Airlines is ready for delivery. My dad works at Boeing in Seattle and he said the first Delta Airlines 777-200 is parked at the flightline at Boeing Feild and should be getting delivered soon. I am going to Seattle April 9th so I hope it is still there so I could get some pictures. My dad said he saw it flying from the Everett factory and was probally going to do some flight test. The aircraft looked good he said.

Delta Airlines has the 737-800, 737-900, 757-200, 767-300, 767-400 and 777-200 on order from Boeing. Delta Airlines and Boeing have a partnership for the 10+ years.

I wish we could have a Delta 777 in the old Delta colours. It looks nicer IMHO. ;-(

RE: Delta Airlines 777-200 interior

I have received word that the interior contains a lot of dark blues. I haven't seen any pics. I wonder if they are still mixing the dark blue with beige, as they did when they refitted the ex-Gulf Air 767-300s. That looked somewhat patchy.
