Attention! Stolen Airplane!

Sat Feb 18, 2012 9:51 am

One of my friend asked me to share this information:

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Please note that Airplane ZLIN 526F was stolen from Serbia. The original registration of the plane is YU-DIR, s/n: 1297.
I am the owner of this plane but it was taken away from the previous owner on my behalf (WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE AND PERMISSION).

The theft is already under investigation by Hungarian CAA and police, but the plane has not been transported into the EU yet.

If you have any information regarding the theft or the plane itself, please contact me a.s.a.p on the mobile number stated below:

It is suppose to look more like this;

But yours is a two seat version, the student sits in from, and the instructor in back.

Did you check the local scrapping yards?

I've bitten my tongue long enough. I'll bite, i'm too curious

Stolen from Serbia & under investigation by the Hungarian CAA ? I'm wondering, why that link ? If it was taken from the previous owner in that condition i wouldn't be extremely intrested in getting it back.

There's more to the story or it's a pretty good hoax
I believe in coincidences. Coincidences happen every day. But I don't trust coincidences.

While I might seem like a jerk ,but who really cares about this, it is a plane that has clearly not been taken care of, has not been flown for years and will probably never fly again (barring a massive investment into restoration, would probably be cheaper to buy another working version of this). This is probably someone stealing the plane for scrap metal, I would hope the relevant authorities have better things than to track down who stole at most a few hundred dollars worth of scrap metal.
