UA/CO Adds EWR-Nantucket (ACK)

Nice to see this route brought back, CO has a long history in ACK including their weekend 737-300s.

EWR-ACK 3x daily (1 Q200, 2 Q300)

Now bring back Martha's Vineyard.
Eastern Air lines flt # 701, EWR-MCO Boeing 757

Good memory. I recall it being Nantucket and New York Air flew it? I know PBA did but that was under People pre-1987 merger.

The islands are suddenly becoming more and more popular as time goes on with the airlines...good for the Massachusetts economy. We'll take it!

CO (XJ) has been flying to ACK for years now..first 737s, then ERJs, now with the QSeries..

Northeast and then Delta flew it with DC-9-30's, too. And when they flew it, the islands were not just a playground for the super rich. Delta actually bounced a DC-9 off a wave and recovered in 73 or 74.
