What Happened To US Airways’ Planned PEK Route?

Wed Feb 22, 2012 4:38 pm

What did US do with their route to PEK? Are they going to try and fly this route at any point?

I believe they never got the A340-300's that they wanted to operate the route so they lost the authority to fly it.

They've done nothing, and from the looks of it, ain't gonna happen anytime soon (before the A350 arrives, they won't even have any plane capable of that flight reliably).

side note : suggest modifying thread title to more informative than just 3-letter code.

Damn, I'm too late. But yeah, they lost the authority to fly the route, and I forget who (if anyone) picked it up.
Do not bring stranger girt into your room. The stranger girt is dangerous, it will hurt your life.
