LOT And Their Paintshop

Thu Mar 08, 2012 1:52 pm

What happened with the new livery on LOT's ERJ-195? The LOT-title is positioned too much forward that it almost hits the cockpit window. The Star Alliance logo is totally incapsulated. And than the LOT title not even lines with the airlines' subtitles... what a horrible paintjob:

I believe the position of LOT and "Polish Airlines" are the same as in the old livery; they just removed the cheat line. If the polish airlines title was moved down to be inline with LOT then it be going right over the windows and completely illegible. It looks better on the left side of the plane (and always has) as LOT doesn't extend as far forward due to the L being in the front instead of a T.

Everything you listed as a problem with the new livery existed in the previous livery. As Polot said, the main difference is the removal of the cheatline. Did you dislike the previous livery?

I could grow to like the tail, but not sure why they removed the cheatline. Their aircraft are boring eurowhite...
