Why Are So Many Airline Bosses Irish?

Came across this interesting news article about why the Irish seem to be so prevalent in the Aviation Industry. Especially when Michael O'Leary states "The Irish are the travel innovators of Europe".

More airline bosses are US American or Chinese.

But if you allude to a small country being over represented in one industry then, yes, this is indeed like many of the worlds top hotels have Swiss managing directors.
