Pan Am 707 Seating Change Date?

Fri Mar 16, 2012 4:21 am

Does anybody remember roughly when Pan Am changed their original seating:

To this:

Did the change co-incide with the introduction of the 747, or later than that?

I would guess mid-70s as the 747 did not have the colorful colors until later. Did the 747SP get delivered with those seat covers?

Here is the original PA 747 interior:

This plane is built to withstand anything... except a bad pilot.
