Silver Airways has put out a press release stating that job openings are at their newest station in Gainesville, FL. On a seperate note they are hoping to seek out available opportunities at IAD formerly serviced by Colgan.

Silver Airways Announces Job Openings For New Gainesville Regional Airport
"Silver Airways Corp. is staffing-up in advance of the April 15, 2012 opening of its new station at Gainesville Regional Airport (GNV). A total of 11 jobs are currently open, including positions for station manager, supervisor and customer service agent. An additional 20-30 openings will be filled in the coming weeks for technical, operations, and administrative positions at the carrier’s new 61,000 square-foot maintenance facility located on the southwest quadrant of Gainesville Regional Airport."

"The application to serve Altoona and Johnstown, Pa., from Dulles on behalf of United marks a new chapter for Silver, which until now has focused on bolstering its Bahamas network by replacing 19-seat Beechcraft 1900Ds with 34-seat Saab 340B+s purchased in cash from Saab Aircraft Leasing. The first Saab is expected to operate revenue service in the coming weeks."
