Good to see my former home airport growing again.
After loosing Tyrolean, Lufthansa, Turkish Airlines and also a couple of AF routes (London, Copenhagen) over the last years it's great Volotea and Vueling are operating now and AF is expanding again.

Maybe SXB can profit a bit from the German aviation tax. But they would need a lot more LCC to compete against FKB. It's still more an expensive business airport than a departure point for leisure flights.

Does anyone now how many a/c in nightstop AF operates from SXB? I counted 6 according to the schedules. I just have the impression they have really low a/c utilization on weekends. So I guess there would still be room for some charter/leisure flights in the summer season.

The seasonal week-end flights to VCE, CLY, FSC and MPL will be operated by Strasbourg-based aircraft.

I am travelling to Strasbourg in April and reaching that city is either expensive or impossible. I am supposed to travel from Larnaca and I got a good deal for €390 with Lufthansa. When I was looking at flights from Belgrade it was always easier to fly to Stuttgart and then take a train into France.
Any additional flight/frequency is welcome in Strasbourg.
