Alitalia Special Colour Schemes

Wed Oct 11, 2000 4:48 am

Hey all! I'm wondering how long the Alitalia Boeing 747-200s with Bvlgari and Baci liveries had those schemes. Were there only two aircraft painted in these special schemes? And why was it done? I think they look incredible, especially the Baci plane! And btw, Baci chocolates are DELICIOUS!!!

They also had a Mcdonald's plane... very ugly.
I agree these planes are stunning. Dragon Wings makes a great 1:400 replica of both !!!

The McDonalds one was painted on 10th March and the other two sometime last year. Seem to think that the Bulgari one (the grey one) was painted bout July1998??

Will find out for def as both have been featured in WAF News soon

The Baci plane was painted in 1997, the Bulgari in 1998. Both are back in their normal livery since earlier this year.
