Bonanza Air Lines Hangar At PHX?

Mon Apr 16, 2012 12:15 am

Am I correct in thinking that the aircraft maintenance/engineering hangar located immediately to the north of the south side taxiway/inner parallel runway, between Terminal 3 and the 'crossover' taxiway at PHX was built by Bonanza Air Lines (opened in 1966), later passed on to successors Air West and Hughes Airwest?

If so... any known links to photos of the facility taken when it was occupied by any of the 3 above-named airlines? ...or perhaps a map of PHX as it was in the days before Terminal 3 was built (1978)?...the location today seems 'out of place' whereas in the days when it was only Terminals 1 & 2 at PHX, the facility would have been more on the periphery of the airport, as was typical 'back then.'

Why did you have to post that link?    Thank you for wasting an hour of my life while I'm playing with that website.
