Volga-Dnepr Buys Air Cargo Germany

ACG is operating 4 744BCF/BDSFs from Frankfurt-Hahn. Two are ex-SQ, the other two ex-CI. The planes are 20 - 23 years old. I wonder if these planes will be repainted in Air Bridge livery in the end, although the article indicates ACG will remain to exist.

From what I understand, they have only acquired a 49% stake, so I assume they will remain somewhat independent.

They will keep their name and German registration because else they would lose their traffic rights to third countries, smart move by ABC to gain access from Germany to third countrues for which they would otherwise need 5th freedom rights.
