I love this airplane.

She is ideal to fly with so very beautiful to look at and so elegant with her amazing flexed wings!

Proud to be First to Fly the B-787-8 Dreamliner with ANA 21 HND-FRA January 2012 We Fly First

Outstanding videos! Thanks for posting. I love the visible 737 wake at the beginning of the departure video.

Potentially dumb tech question here:

At
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...yer_detailpage&v=V3aNTohpBuw#t=75s
it appears that gear retraction is approximately symmetrical.

At
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...er_detailpage&v=Udntu07fvQM#t=145s
the right landing gear is retracted clearly later than the left landing gear.

How come?
Am I cured? Slept 5 hours on last long-haul flight...

Sometimes we just need to applaud the people who had the incentive to just BE there to document events we were unable to see for ourselves. It's about the willingness to do it, the joy of doing it, the ability to know where to be...and when to be there.

That's all.

That youtube channel seems to have quite a few well shot videos. Thanks for sharing this, I know how I'm gonna waste the next hour or so.

The first time I saw the 787 Dreamliner at the 2010 Farnborough Air Show doing the flypast with the two Spitfires in a beautiful display.

She was the star of the air show!

My heart went    that and XH558 the mighty Avro Vulcan!

Amen! I flew my first flight in an old WWII trainer.....a Fairchild PT-19. Something as beautiful and as graceful as all of the new jets of today (yes, both Airbus and Boeing) still brings great joy to my eyes. What a thrill. I still love the sounds of all of todays great engines. All of them. Each has its own individual personality.
